   Having been used to the moisture and texture of Primal Spirit and Tofurky Jurky, I have to say I was utterly disappointed by these. They’re far too dry and require much more jaw-work than should be required to enjoy some jerky.

   Plus, with only 12 packets, it seems you get less product for the price than you do with the other vegan jerkies available on Amazon. With so much better stuff out there, I wouldn’t waste my money on this product again, even to try a different flavor.

   This jerky is the best jerky I’ve had – period.
   I’m an omnivore and this stuff tastes better than meat jerky.

   It has a rich meaty flavor without being overpowering –
   unlike most jerkies, meat-less or otherwise.

   Also it’s low in sugar and sodium, which is rare for a
   meat-less jerky. Other meat-less jerkies usually use that
   and a ton of spice to over compensate for being meat-less.

   Totally worth it.

   My friends and I have tried many vegetarian jerky products and this is the Best. 1) the Taste of the Ginger Jerky is by far better quality and texture than others. In fact, many consider tastyeats Teriyaki or Original to be even better. They were sold out of all those, so only had the Ginger and three of the Jerkys that are unsweetened.

   Most important, they do not use any garlic or onion in their products so, to use an Ayurvedic term, it is Sathwic. In other words, it doesn’t give one the effects that garlic or onion has on the system. Also, the taste, we feel, is the very best around. The company is simply first class to offer this product, so I have phoned them direct and ordered 6 cases of the Ginger. I will order the Teriyaki, Original, Hot n’Spicy, Peppered when those become available.

   As an aside, we have tried other products/companies, and in fact, one jerky company has the ingredient as “vegetarian spices” and in this ingredient is granulated garlic, possibly onion. Other jerky companies may have “spices” but at least list garlic or onion powder, so forth. This Company has found a formula without these and it is a Blessing.

   I was excited to get the ginger jerky in the mail after the good reviews, but I find it very bland. The jerky by Vegan dreams is much better! This has no taste and am pretty bummed I have 11 packs I am never going to eat.

   The first time I experienced these little delights was at the annual Green Festival and I fell in love. I’ve tried almost all of the flavors but the Hot N’ Spicy is one of my favorites. Perfect for an on-the-go snack that is flavorful, protein-packed and easy to keep on hand. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

   Taste is good but texture is not like real jerky. Check out Turtle Island Tofurky Jurky, available on Amazon.

   I bought this product by accident one morning at a local deli, and I was very surprised when I first ate it. Granted, you can easily tell (and I was scared because I was expecting beef jerky when I first bit it) that it is not meat. But, as an alternative, it is very tasty, and I did end up buying it again.

   I like most varieties of Primal Strips. They are a fantastic snack for active vegetarians (10g protein, 3g fat, 8g carbs.). The Hickory Smoked variety is very flavorful with a little bit of a spicy kick. The texture is somewhat firm, which I enjoy, but it often gets stuck between my teeth so I always need to have some dental floss handy. I would say that of all the varieties of Primal Strips, this is currently my favorite.

    This is the only veggie jerquee my local grocery store carries and is a good substitute for when I don’t feel like ordering my favorite(stonewalls) online.
    I like the flavor and the texture but I always need scissors to open the package and I hate the thought of my germy scissors touching my food.
    Once you finally open it, it’s hard to really get a good bite because it is very stringy and full of sauce, you usually end up with half the product in one bite just so you don’t get sauce all over your hands and mouth.
    I often get it stuck in my teeth too, which is annoying when I’m at work without dental floss.
    I think they are redesigning the package so hopefully it will be easier to eat soon. They could work on the price too, $1.29 at the store for 2 bites is a bit ridiculous!

    I purchased this soy milk maker about 1 year ago based on its pretty good reviews here in Amazon.

    First one month, it was all good. However, it started to show wear-out sign not long after. First, it generated more and more noise. Soon we found that a bolt on the bottom was loose and detached. That’s probably the reason for noise. Later, we discovered that some whole soy beans can still be found in the maker or not completely grinded even after the milk making process was done. Now it’s a little more than 1 year old and we cannot use it anymore.
