   My son has milk allergies and refuses to drink soy milk. He LOVES these drinks! They taste more like a juice drink than milk. I’m so glad we found this product. The juice boxes are convenient but I wish they came in 32oz packages too.

   From my 11-year old daughter: “It tastes like a smoothie and I love having it in my lunch box.” As a mom, I’m always looking for healthy ways to get protein and calcium in my chidren’s diet and this is a good one.

   It’s a fuel-drink, so I didn’t expect this to taste great. They call it orange-sicle, but it’s really, really bland. Not such a big deal to me, because when you need this kind of endurance fuel, you need to have realistic expectations for flavor (my opinion, anyway).

   I used this for the triple bypass ride this summer (120 miles, 10,000 feet of climbing). It did the job just fine. I needed to supplement electrolytes but I’m a ‘white-streak’ sweater so I burn through salt like crazy. Still, I needed it to keep me going for about 8 hours and it did.

   I had heard many positive reviews of this product and explored this and alternative solutions for my endurance training. I love this stuff. I cannot say it does more than gels or bars but it has quite the ingredient list and I love being able to mix my “gel.” I am thinking that using this product requires new attention to hydration options because it does provide sodium and other related items.On several runs I became mega-thirsty and I am now thinking I was not so much dehydrated as overdoing it with this product AND a sports drink. I have since halved my sports drink on the long run with success but may reduce it more. One final note. Mix this stuff a a bit thinner than gel consistency as I found it thickened during a long run and I could not squeeze or suck out the last ounces. Now I use a 10 ounce bottle and mix it into a liquid. Problem solved.

   I am in the ketosis/induction phase of a reduced calorie low carb diet and have been looking for a low fat low carb nutrition drink. This is it.

   Most of the other “nutrition” drinks on the market are either high in fat calories, carb calories or both.

   For a high protein low fat (1 gram per serving) low carb drink I think it tastes remarkably good. Using the Atkins Advantage milk chocolate delight shake as taste/flavor/texture reference point, ZOIC is less robust in flavor and not as thick. I would NOT call ZOIC watery. Gatorade is watery.

   The Atkins Advantage drinks taste good but half of their calories come from fat. Good for gaining weight. For me ZOIC is palatable and more nutritious. I really can’t see why people try this product and complain about its taste. If you are looking for a milk shake go to a fast food joint.

   In summary, ZOIC offers major nutritional benefits and minor flavor concessions when compared to other nutrition drinks on the market. I will buying the ZOIC Belgian chocolate flavor again, and I will be trying the vanilla flavor soon! As much as I love Amazon I wish retail stores in my neck of the woods carried ZOIC.

   Strongly recommended.

   People say it doesn’t taste bad, well, I didn’t like it at all. It’s very watered down; you can taste the chocolate, but what ever else is in this drink is awful. I gave mine away.

   The protein content has changed from 21 grams to 15 grams. Not sure why they changed but the “new” product has 15 grams.

   Have had lap band surgery and this product gives a great amount of protein and it tastes good{like yoo-hoo}. Its easy to carry and works great on the hunger when stopping to eat is not possible. I always have them i my car.

   EAS & Atkins make the best tasting protein drinks – all the rest taste about the same. Zoic has the same “aftertaste” that other protein drinks have but I will say that it does a good job of curbing your hunger if you drink it in place of a mid-day or evening snack.

    My son was 18 months old when he was put on this drink. He had a mild to moderate allergic reaction to cow’s milk protein, which caused him throwing up quite often. It’s always been a struggling for us, as a parent, to keep the weight on him (he’s always on the 20th percentile). Then the dietary specialist recommended this drink to us and said if he can drink 5 cans per day he’ll gain weight even without eating anything else. This is the only milk (soy/cow milk) that provides 30cal/oz.

    It took a little bit time to migrate him from cow’s milk to soymilk. We started out from 1oz then gradually added up, now we mix 4oz can with 4oz regular SILK. He goes through 2 cans per day. And he’s up to 50-60% on weight at 2 years old and he’s not thrown up since then, nor has he been sick either. We highly recommend it. We hope to be able to buy it from the regular grocery store though.

    I agree with other two reviews. It is a great product for my 5 years old son, who has milk allergy and very picky eater. There is no other product available in the same kind. It is great that Amazon caries this product which makes it much easier to buy and do not have to pay shipping. I want to buy more, but currently it is out of stock. I just hope that Amazon will have it again soon.

    My son was diagnosed with Failure to Thrive (FTT), he is 17 months old and currently weighs 18lbs. About 6 months ago we discovered he has a severe allergy to diary, eggs & peanuts – among other things. We had been giving him regular soy milk for awhile but I was looking for something a little more nutritious that would supplement his diet and help him put on some weight when I found this product. Believe it or not this is the only soy-based product of it’s kind which I just don’t understand – there are so many kiddos out there with dairy allergies!! I even found an article online praising Bright Beginnings for developing this sort of product, they were able to tap into a huge market that even Pediasure hadn’t touched. My other options were all dairy-based or EXTREMELY expensive so we decided to try this. Let me just say that within a month’s time, I have ordered over 12 cases just to make sure we don’t run out. It has been a total lifesaver for us. My son loves it and I feel good knowing that on those days when my toddler is too busy to eat as well as I think he should he’s still getting a lot of nutrients from this product. My son put on exactly 1 pound in exactly 1 month thanks to this product.

    A big THANKS to Amazon.com for carrying this product!!! Not only is it cheaper here than anywhere else they ship it so quickly which I really appreciate!!!!

    My little girl has always been in the 5 percentile and it’s very important to keep her caloric intake up. This assists tremendously with that even when she is sick or just doesn’t feel like eating.
